Call for Papers

We are seeking submissions from top Chinese scholars on topics related to science, philosophy and belief. The range of topics is quite broad. Papers should be read in about thirty minutes but longer papers may be submitted for publication in the conference proceedings (however, presenting the paper at the conference does not guarantee publication). Papers can be submitted in either Chinese or English.

There are two submission deadlines. If you wish to attend a paper preparation conference at Hainan Island March 20-22 (we will cover room and board; your host institution must cover your airfare), you should submit your paper by February 1, 2009; you will be notified of your acceptance by February 15. The later submission date is April 1, 2009 with notification by April 21.

All papers must be submitted for blind review: nothing that identifies the author or his/her host institution should be put into the body or title of the paper; all identifying information should be restricted to the cover letter that accompanies the paper. Each paper will be double blind-reviewed.

Send paper and cover letter as attachment to Xu Xiangdong.
